Your dog profile is how others learn about your pup. Be honest:

• Describe your dog accurately (age, size, energy, temperament)
• Be honest about behavioral issues (reactive, anxious, etc.)
• Only claim vaccination status if you're certain
• Use recent photos of your actual dog
• Update info if your dog's health or behavior changes

2. Event Safety Standards

Every playdate should be safe and enjoyable for all dogs:

• Always meet in public, dog-friendly spaces (parks, trails)
• Never propose private home meetups
• Attend during daylight hours when possible
• Bring water, first aid supplies, and contact info
• Keep your dog on a leash or in a secure, fenced area
• Don't attend if your dog is unwell or injured
• Supervise your dog at all times
• Leave immediately if behavior becomes unsafe

4. Reporting & Safety

Saw something unsafe or inappropriate? Report it immediately:

• Use the Report button on any post, profile, or event
• Provide details: date, time, location, people involved, what happened
• FurHomie will investigate and take action
• All reports are confidential

Your safety is our priority. Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, it probably is.

5. Content Standards

Posts should be community-friendly. Do NOT post:

• Graphic, violent, or sexually explicit content
• Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language
• Harassment, bullying, or threats
• Spam, scams, or commercial promotion
• Medical, veterinary, or training advice (leave that to professionals)
• Personal information of others (doxxing)
• Requests for money or payment

6. Respect & Inclusivity

FurHomie welcomes all dog owners, regardless of background, experience, or dog type. Be respectful. Avoid judgment about training methods, breeds, rescues vs. breeders, or parenting styles. This is a welcoming community for all dogs and their humans.
